Is Entertainement sector relying too much on nostalgic factor?
I am a big movie buff. If there is a new movie or new series out, I will be the first one in my friend circle to watch it. Recently I watched Succession, it is the best drama series available in the 21st century. I am literally a salesperson for it. Whenever there is a conversation going on about a series or a movie, I will just start talking about it till the eternity. Season 4 will be out next year and I hope it won't crash like Game of Thrones. I have cravings for good movies and series and because of the nostalgic factor there is definitely a shortage of good series/movies. Even in gaming sectors the same is happening people are intended to buy more nostalgic games rather than buying new stuff. Some of the gaming companies totally rely on nostalgic factors. So, last year we all watched Friends Reunion and now Harry Potter Reunion and there will definitely be more to follow soon. The production house is just milking the cow and churning out more revenue at a very nominal cost. ...
